Wallet Operations Deputy, UAE
What You'll Be Doing
Oversee the daily operations of exchange wallets, including deposits and withdrawals.
Monitor blockchain transactions to ensure timely processing and resolve any delays or failures.
Maintain operational uptime of exchange wallets.
Coordinate and complete network upgrades, token events, and related testing without issues.
Prepare monthly wallet balance and transaction reports for regulatory submission to the FSRA.
Monitor internal alerts and work with internal stakeholders and external parties to respond to incidents and implement safeguards.
Continuously review existing risk controls to prevent potential future impact on the firm or users.
Review internal processes and simplify or automate them to improve efficiency and user experience.
Analyze competitor products and industry trends to identify potential product or process enhancements.
Collaborate with Customer Support to resolve wallet-related user inquiries.
Partner with stakeholders across departments to address customer pain points and enhance the product.
Communicate and collaborate with regulators, auditors, and external parties on licensing and other required certifications.
What We're Looking For
At least 8+ years of experience in crypto wallet operations, blockchain infrastructure, compliance, or a related role.
Familiarity with various blockchain technologies, including EVM, Polkadot, Cosmos, and others.
Familiarity with on-chain analysis tools, DeFi protocols, and new projects.
Familiarity with wallet infrastructure such as nodes, signing services, and wallet custody models (Hardware wallet, MPC, HSM, KSM, Embedded Custody).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make clear decisions based on thorough impact analysis.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 crypto environment, with a self-starting, passionate approach.
Bonus Points
Experience facing regulators.
Experience in TradFi custody.
