Web3 Sales Representative
About This Role
As a Web3 Sales Representative, you will be pivotal in executing OpenZeppelin's go-to-market strategy, from outbound prospecting to closing deals. You'll play a key role in scaling our sales organization and significantly contributing to company revenue by securing new partnerships within the Web3 space.
What You'll Be Doing
Manage the full sales cycle with Web3 projects, from lead generation and prospecting to contract negotiation and deal closure.
Lead discovery conversations with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand client needs and communicate OpenZeppelin’s value proposition.
Drive revenue growth by consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Stay informed on rapidly evolving market trends and competitive dynamics to shape outreach and guide opportunities.
Represent OpenZeppelin at key industry events, conferences, and trade shows to build relationships and uncover new business opportunities.
Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, track performance, and refine your sales approach using data-driven insights.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in enterprise, full cycle sales with a proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets.
Experience with Hubspot or a similar CRM.
Experience selling cybersecurity products and/or services to developers or other technical customers.
Strong understanding of Web3: smart contracts, DeFi, DAOs, Layer 2 Rollups, etc.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work both in a team and independently to meet deadlines.
Data-driven mindset with creativity and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
Positive attitude, proactivity, and openness to feedback.
Extreme attention to detail.
Proven success working in a remote-first, globally distributed team.
Bonus Points
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field.
Professional experience selling blockchain solutions and/or services.
A well-established network in the blockchain ecosystem, including founders and industry leaders.
