About This Role
Polygon Labs is looking for someone to drive its growth in Mexico and Central America by expanding its presence in the payments and stablecoins space. In this high-impact role, you'll build collaborations with fintechs, financial institutions, and infrastructure players, and co-create go-to-market strategies that turn potential into real-world adoption. You'll work cross-functionally to remove friction, unlock new corridors, and help shape the next wave of digital financial infrastructure. This role is suited to a natural connector with deep regional experience and a passion for web3 innovation.
What You'll Be Doing
Identify and engage key players across the payments and stablecoins ecosystem, including banks, fintechs, PSPs, CEXs, wallets, and market makers.
Represent Polygon Labs' product suite and roadmap, highlighting use cases such as on-chain FX, cross-border remittances, and the upcoming Polygon Payments Network.
Prioritize strategic partners and corridors, and shape pilots, integrations, and long-term opportunities.
Track and analyze evolving regulatory policies affecting digital payments and blockchain in the region, staying ahead of the regulatory curve.
Translate complex regulatory and market developments into actionable insights for internal teams and external partners.
Co-create and execute go-to-market plans with top-tier ecosystem players, maintaining momentum through recurring engagement and clear value delivery.
Build and maintain pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, and internal briefings to support execution.
Manage deliverables across cross-functional teams -- legal, engineering, marketing, finance -- to ensure end-to-end success.
Maintain and improve internal business development tools, including CRMs, dashboards, KPIs, and performance trackers.
Own operational clarity across all active initiatives in the region.
What We're Looking For
6+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, or blockchain, particularly with payments, stablecoins, or institutional crypto.
A strong network across Mexico and Central America's financial and fintech ecosystem.
Proven ability to lead strategic business development initiatives and drive cross-functional execution.
Deep understanding of on-chain finance, including DeFi, stablecoins, and institutional yield.
Working knowledge of regional crypto regulations and their impact on financial products.
Excellent communication skills, with strong executive presence and storytelling ability.
High organization and adaptability, with comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.
Bonus Points
Background in traditional payments or fintech strategy, particularly in product, pricing, or go-to-market roles.
Familiarity with DeFi, remittances, or crypto-native infrastructure.
Exposure to M&A, investment evaluations, or deal structuring.
Understanding of FX flows, capital controls, and emerging market challenges.
Experience creating collateral for partners, investors, or sales teams.
