Development Relations Engineer
About This Role
This hands-on role places you at the intersection of technology and community, turning technical complexity into clarity for all Switchboard users. You'll be a frontline support, documentation expert, and a key driver in empowering developers and growing a global community.
What You'll Be Doing
Serve as the primary point of contact for Switchboard users, providing timely technical support, troubleshooting integration issues, and debugging active services.
Guide users from initial onboarding through advanced usage, helping them unlock the full potential of Switchboard's data feeds.
Update and maintain Switchboard’s developer documentation, tutorials, and guides.
Translate user feedback into product insights, suggesting engineering priorities and contributing to open-source solutions.
Interact with developers via Discord, GitHub, and events to foster a supportive ecosystem for Switchboard users and node operators.
Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and fix bugs in production.
Find and contribute to open-source projects that support the Switchboard ecosystem and broader DeFi builder community.
Represent the Switchboard Protocol at developer meetups, online events, and online forums.
What We're Looking For
3+ years in software engineering, with at least 1-2 years focused on Web3/blockchain technologies.
Deep understanding of decentralized systems, oracles, and crypto primitives.
Hands-on experience building and deploying applications on the Solana blockchain.
Must have shipped at least one Solana-based project (e.g., smart contracts, dApp) using a combination of Rust and Anchor.
Practical knowledge of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) ecosystems, including building or integrating with Solidity smart contracts or working with EVM compatible chains (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon, or Binance Smart Chain).
