"What You'll Be Doing"
About This Role
You'll run Mining as your own business inside GoMining, owning everything from economics and product strategy down to the roadmap, the team, and sprint execution — effectively acting as CPO of your own domain. You'll have a small dedicated engineering team, direct access to legal, finance and compliance, and you'll report directly to the founder. This role is about growing the business and moving the numbers that matter: revenue, LTV and active users, not just keeping things running.
What You'll Be Doing
Own Mining's key business metrics — revenue, LTV, user growth, retention, and the unit economics behind every miner sold, upgraded or traded.
Build and own the product and business strategy for Mining: what grows next, what launches, and what gets cut.
Model and tune the economics of miners, upgrades, maintenance, marketplace fees and token mechanics so they work for both users and the business.
Identify and launch new growth levers: new mechanics and miner products, pricing and bundles, and tighter links with the rest of the ecosystem (Card, Simple Earn, VIP, Miner Wars).
Track how crypto, mining and Web3 products drive revenue and retention, and bring back ideas worth testing.
Own the Mining roadmap and priorities, translating strategy into a plan the team can execute.
Work hands-on with user research, analytics, funnels and experiments — decisions are data-driven, not opinion-based.
Define requirements with the tech lead: the problem being solved, for whom, and how success will be measured.
Manage the full product lifecycle, from discovery and launch through growth to sunsetting what no longer performs.
Lead a small dedicated team — a tech lead, 2–3 software engineers and 1–2 QA engineers — setting goals, priorities and pace.
Own delivery end to end: scope, timelines, quality and releases.
Bring in legal, finance, compliance, marketing, design, analytics and support as needed, driving cross-functional work without direct management authority.
Partner with marketing on go-to-market plans for every Mining launch.
What We're Looking For
6+ years in product management, including 2–3 years owning a product or business line end to end (strategy, metrics, delivery, team).
Experience as a CPO, Head of Product, GM, or founding product lead, ideally at a startup or scale-up handling multiple functions at once (product, delivery, analytics, sometimes fundraising or partnerships).
A demonstrable track record of growing business metrics (revenue, LTV, user base), backed by real numbers.
Strong grasp of unit economics, monetisation models and the product lifecycle — able to build and defend a business model, not just a backlog.
Hands-on product analytics skills: funnels, cohorts, A/B tests, SQL or BI tools.
Experience leading engineering teams directly and working closely with a tech lead on trade-offs.
Ability to drive decisions with teams you don't directly manage, including legal, finance and compliance.
Background in crypto, Web3 or fintech products; crypto experience strongly preferred, including understanding of tokens, wallets and crypto user behavior.
Strong English (B2+) and fluent Russian.
Bonus Points
Experience with mining, hashrate-based products, NFTs or tokenomics.
Founder or co-founder experience, including fundraising.
Experience with marketplaces, two-sided economies, or in-game/gamified economies.
Experience with regulated financial products and compliance across jurisdictions.
An engineering background.
