Senior SecOps Expert
About This Role
Join a hyper-growth security team defending one of the most critical pieces of blockchain infrastructure in the world. You'll operate at the intersection of distributed ledger technology and cutting-edge security operations, tackling sophisticated threats targeting crypto and DeFi ecosystems while building the automated defenses of tomorrow.
What You'll Be Doing
Act as the senior escalation point for critical security incidents, leading deep-dive DFIR investigations across our blockchain infrastructure
Hunt proactively for emerging threats, dissecting attacker techniques targeting smart contracts, wallets, and crypto custody systems
Drive SecOps initiatives end-to-end, from concept through full-scale implementation and maintenance
Mentor and technically guide a team of security operations experts in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment
Build and refine agentic, automated security workflows leveraging telemetry and existing tooling
Coordinate cross-functional incident response with stakeholders across engineering, compliance, and leadership
Conduct hands-on forensics, cloud investigations, and root-cause analysis, then translate findings into actionable executive reports
What We're Looking For
5+ years in Incident Response or a 24/7 Security Operations Center, managing escalations and producing incident documentation
Proven track record owning the full lifecycle of security incidents within global, always-on production environments
Strong scripting and automation chops (Python, Bash) with experience shipping production-grade code
Deep knowledge of attack/mitigation strategies across cloud and SaaS platforms critical to decentralized finance operations
Solid command of security controls across at least two OS environments (Windows, Linux/Unix, macOS a plus), including host forensics
A sharp, analytical problem-solver with a growth mindset and excellent cross-team communication skills
Bonus Points
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
Hands-on experience applying LLM architectures to security automation and threat detection
