What You'll Be Doing
Lead discussions on emerging security standards, threat landscapes, and risk exposure across our digital asset and blockchain strategy
Architect and implement robust security frameworks, policies, and best practices tailored to decentralized systems and crypto infrastructure
Conduct in-depth security reviews of smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and web3 applications to identify vulnerabilities before they become incidents
Partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and compliance teams to embed security-by-design principles into every stage of development
Evaluate and respond to novel attack vectors unique to distributed ledger technology and decentralized finance ecosystems
Mentor junior engineers and champion a security-first culture across the organization
What We're Looking For
5+ years of application security experience, with demonstrated exposure to blockchain, crypto, or distributed systems
Strong understanding of smart contract vulnerabilities, consensus mechanisms, and common attack patterns in web3 environments
Hands-on experience with security architecture design, threat modeling, and secure code review practices
Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical risks into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders
A proactive, curious mindset with genuine enthusiasm for the evolving crypto and decentralized technology space
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience
Bonus Points
Direct experience securing DeFi protocols, crypto exchanges, or custody solutions
Familiarity with security standards specific to digital asset custody and blockchain compliance frameworks
Contributions to open-source security tooling within the web3 ecosystem
Relevant certifications (OSCP, CISSP, or blockchain security credentials)
