What You'll Be Doing
Identify, pursue, and close strategic partnerships with sportsbooks, data providers, exchanges, and prediction market platforms
Build and manage a robust pipeline of institutional and crypto-native counterparties across the prediction markets and DeFi landscape
Represent Wintermute at industry events, positioning the firm as a trusted liquidity partner in decentralized and traditional markets alike
Collaborate cross-functionally with trading, legal, and product teams to structure deals involving smart contracts and on-chain settlement
Monitor market trends across crypto, sports betting, and web3 to uncover new business opportunities
Develop go-to-market strategies that accelerate Wintermute's footprint in this high-growth sector
What We're Looking For
Proven business development or partnerships experience, ideally within crypto, sports betting, trading, or fintech
Strong commercial instincts with a track record of sourcing and closing complex, high-value deals
Genuine enthusiasm for blockchain technology, decentralized markets, and the evolving prediction markets space
Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills across both traditional and crypto-native counterparties
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with ambiguity and rapid iteration
Based in or willing to work from London, with flexibility for travel
Bonus Points
Existing network within sports betting, exchanges, or prediction market platforms
Familiarity with smart contracts, on-chain settlement, or DeFi trading infrastructure
Experience working at a crypto-native trading firm or liquidity provider
Understanding of regulatory considerations across crypto and gambling-adjacent markets
