What You'll Be Doing
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, cultivating a culture of ownership, curiosity, and continuous improvement
Architect and scale a high-throughput transaction engine built for accuracy, resilience, and distributed reliability
Maintain and evolve a distributed multi-currency wallet platform that mirrors blockchain-grade ledger integrity
Provide hands-on technical direction, defending architecture decisions and system design choices
Partner cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to align technical execution with business strategy
Champion AI-driven tooling and observability improvements to boost engineering velocity and system transparency
What We're Looking For
Proven experience architecting and operating distributed systems at scale, with strong backend and database expertise
Track record of leading engineering teams through complex, high-stakes technical initiatives
Deep understanding of financial data integrity, transaction processing, or ledger-based systems
Excellent communicator able to translate technical nuance for both engineers and business stakeholders
Collaborative, inclusive leadership style that thrives in fast-paced, founder-driven environments
Comfort operating with first-principles thinking in ambiguous, high-growth settings
Bonus Points
Exposure to blockchain, crypto, or decentralized ledger technologies and their application to fintech
Experience with smart contracts, DeFi protocols, or distributed consensus systems
Background in payments, card issuing, or multi-currency wallet infrastructure
