Product Manager - Cyber Security
"About The Role"
About This Role
As our Product Manager - Cyber Security, you'll own the roadmap for detection engineering and SOC tooling that safeguards crypto infrastructure and web3 platforms. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with threat intelligence analysts, data scientists, and engineers to build products that catch abuse patterns before they become incidents. This is a rare opportunity to shape security tooling for an industry where smart contracts, DeFi protocols, and decentralized applications are constantly under attack.
What You'll Be Doing
Drive the product strategy for security detection systems, SOC tooling, and analytics platforms protecting blockchain and crypto assets
Translate SOC operational needs—alert lifecycle, triage workflows, escalation paths, and incident response—into clear product requirements
Partner with engineering and data teams to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives across decentralized systems
Use quantitative data to prioritize backlog items, measure detection efficacy, and report on security outcomes
Stay ahead of emerging threat patterns and abuse cases specific to smart contracts, DeFi, and distributed ledger environments
Collaborate cross-functionally to align security product goals with broader web3 platform objectives
What We're Looking For
Proven product management experience delivering security detections, SOC tooling, or data/analytics products
Deep understanding of SOC operations, including alert lifecycle management, triage, escalations, and incident response workflows
Solid grounding in blockchain fundamentals and familiarity with common threat patterns and abuse vectors in crypto ecosystems
Strong data-driven decision-making skills, with ability to measure detection efficacy and manage false positive rates
Excellent communication skills to bridge technical security teams and broader business stakeholders
Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments typical of web3 and decentralized technology sectors
Bonus Points
Direct experience building security products for blockchain, DeFi, or crypto-native platforms
Familiarity with on-chain analytics tools and distributed ledger forensics
Background working alongside threat intelligence or abuse prevention teams in crypto environments
Knowledge of smart contract vulnerabilities and exploit mitigation strategies
