What You'll Be Doing
Design and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks tailored to digital assets, blockchain infrastructure, and distributed systems
Assess operational, counterparty, and technology risks associated with crypto custody, smart contract execution, and DeFi protocol exposure
Partner cross-functionally with technology, compliance, and product teams to evaluate emerging blockchain solutions before deployment
Monitor evolving regulatory landscapes across digital asset markets and translate requirements into actionable risk controls
Develop stress-testing models and scenario analyses specific to volatile crypto and decentralized finance markets
Present risk insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions on blockchain initiatives
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in risk management within financial services, with direct exposure to blockchain, crypto, or digital asset environments
Strong understanding of distributed ledger technology, smart contracts, and decentralized finance mechanics
Analytical mindset capable of quantifying risk in nascent, fast-moving crypto markets
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with ability to communicate complex blockchain risk concepts to non-technical audiences
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing digital assets across UK and global jurisdictions
Bachelor's degree in finance, risk management, economics, or related field; advanced certifications a plus
