(Sr.) QA Automation Engineer
About This Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and passionate QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and implement automated tests to ensure the highest quality of our software products. This position is critical to streamlining testing processes and improving the speed and reliability of product delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test frameworks and scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA team members, to identify testing needs and deliver high-quality software.
Execute automated test suites and analyze results to detect software failures and defects.
Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution using appropriate tracking tools.
Optimize and enhance existing automation frameworks for better coverage and reliability.
Stay current with the latest trends and tools in QA automation to implement improvements.
What We're Looking For
Experience with application, system, and web-based testing.
Ability to quickly read through API specs and create automation scripts using tools such as Python or the Robot framework.
Hands-on experience using tools such as Postman to test and verify results.
Knowledge of testing processes and methodologies (e.g., unit testing, integration testing, system testing).
Experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium and/or knowledge of stress testing tools such as JMeter, K6, or LoadRunner.
Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in the software development lifecycle and web technologies, such as inspecting API results.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Strong internal communication skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
Analytical skills for assessing faults and bugs found.
