(Sr.) QA Engineer
About This Role
The QA Engineer will be an integral member of a collaborative Scrum team, working closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Project Managers to ensure that assigned projects meet high standards of quality and are delivered on time. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is eager to learn and passionate about quality assurance, bringing prior experience to support the team's shared success.
What You'll Be Doing
Assist in system testing of new applications and existing software to confirm they meet design specifications.
Perform regression testing on new applications and software enhancements to identify any impacts from changes.
Help maintain and manage manual or automated test scripts and test databases.
Design, write, execute, and maintain tests for web applications and platform APIs.
Review specifications, requirements, and technical design documents, providing timely and useful feedback.
Record test results and follow up on fault reports, working closely with relevant engineers.
Assist in verifying and reproducing reported faults in existing software.
Ensure all work meets customer requirements before release for internal approval.
Ensure all work aligns with team and company guidelines and standards.
Participate in the development process and stay current with new testing tools and strategies.
What We're Looking For
Experience in various types of testing, including application testing, system testing, and mobile testing.
At least 5 years of QA experience.
A technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
Knowledge of different testing methods, including functional, integration, regression, stress, and API testing.
Experience with testing tools such as JMeter, Fiddler, Postman, adb logcat, and Charles.
Experience working in an agile environment.
Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in analyzing faults and bugs found during testing.
Bonus Points
1 year of experience in blockchain testing.
Familiarity with app automation frameworks such as Appium, Katalon, Espresso, or Xcode.
Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
Experience in API automation development.
Familiarity with Android and iOS mobile platforms.
