What You'll Be Doing
Architect and ship resilient, high-performance frontend systems that interface directly with Ethereum smart contracts and multi-chain protocols
Lead technical decisions across complex web3 applications, balancing user experience with the realities of decentralized infrastructure
Collaborate closely with protocol engineers, designers, and product leads to translate intricate DeFi mechanics into intuitive interfaces
Mentor engineers across the organization, raising the bar for frontend craftsmanship and distributed systems thinking
Drive technical strategy for scalable, secure frontend architecture supporting lending, borrowing, and savings products
Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging tools across the blockchain and crypto ecosystem
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience building production-grade frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks
Proven track record operating at a staff or senior staff level, ideally within fintech, crypto, or complex distributed systems
Hands-on experience integrating with blockchain networks, wallets, or smart contracts in live production environments
Strong architectural instincts and the ability to make sound tradeoffs in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Excellent communication skills and comfort mentoring engineers across varying experience levels
Genuine passion for decentralized finance and its potential to reshape global financial access
Bonus Points
Direct experience working with Aave, Compound, Uniswap, or similar DeFi protocols
Familiarity with Solidity, smart contract ABIs, or onchain data indexing tools like The Graph
Experience contributing to open-source web3 libraries or developer tooling
Background in performance optimization for high-traffic crypto applications
