Senior Software Engineer - Stablecoin Payments
About This Role
This role sits within the team responsible for Noah's core payments engine — the systems orchestrating money movement, settlement, ledgering, compliance and blockchain interactions at global scale. You'll design and build infrastructure that processes real customer funds and powers millions of dollars in payment volume, forming the foundation for products used worldwide. It's suited to engineers who enjoy hard distributed systems problems, deep thinking about reliability, and building from first principles.
What You'll Be Doing
Design, build and ship highly reliable backend services in Go.
Build distributed systems that prioritize correctness, performance and fault tolerance.
Own services end-to-end, from architecture and implementation to monitoring and scaling.
Improve the performance and resilience of payment infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance and Forward Deployed Engineers to launch customer-facing capabilities quickly.
Help define engineering standards and influence how the company builds as it scales.
Contribute to technical design discussions and challenge assumptions.
What We're Looking For
Strong experience building backend systems in Go (or another systems language with willingness to work in Go).
Experience within the Payments and/or Crypto industry.
Experience designing distributed, event-driven or high-throughput systems.
Deep understanding of APIs, databases, messaging systems and AWS cloud infrastructure.
Experience building production systems where reliability and correctness matter.
Strong product instincts and a bias towards shipping.
Excellent communication and ownership.
